The entire property is fabulous. The staff is old school classical friendly. A joy to stay at. They are very accommodating. We travels with a dog who had his own bed provided by the hotel. Love this place.

An iconic hotel in the heart of Hamburg. The location is so centrally located. Located near many attractions, cafés and great restaurants. Also close to the train. The staff are amazingly friendly and super helpful. The hotel has 3 fantastic restaurants. I didn't get a chance to utilize the spa, but I did stop by to take a look and it looked beautiful. The rooms are super spacious and very comfortable. They could use a little refresh, since this is an older hotel, but still quite lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall excellent. Only two comments: the breakfast is too expensive for what they provide and the pool should be open later into the night as people often don't have time to go to the pool before 10pm. Otherwise everything about this place was magnificent.

I arrived via the central station and walked approx 25 mins to get here. It’s located in a nice and quiet area. Room was spacious (30sqm) and clean. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. Improvements for the hotel: - Provide the cleaning staff with a tablet giving them a life feed of which rooms have checked out. Then they don’t have to knock on the door at 8:15am in the morning! - Shampoo and other gels in the bath should be one-time bottles. Refilling big bottles - although it might be more eco friendly and cheaper - comes with a risk for the guests.

The staff were extremly welcoming, polite and helpful. The hotel has a great vibe with all the bars and restaurants located within. Breakfast was amazing, the choice of food and drink was excellent. Rooms are clean and comfatable, spa and pool are perfect for relaxing. Could not fault this hotel at all. Amazing stay and would highly recommend staying here if visiting Hamburg.
