Cramped rooms, no a/c and sloppy housekeeping. They must have paid a lot to get the 4 star rating. The hotel has some charm and it was nicely renovated. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly. There is a pleasant outdoor area for the restaurant, facing a quit back street. The breakfast, with many swedish classics. This is where the good ends. My stay was at the end of August and the room, even though it was supposed to be a superior room, was very small and felt like an oven. I literally felt a draft of hot air coming from it every time I opened the door at the end of the day. The windows had to be open all the time to a busy street with a train station and bus station near it, so it was incredibly noisy especially at peak hours. Forget sleeping after 6am. The room was so small that I actually tripped trying to reach the bathroom at night and managed to hit both the bathroom door and opposite wall at the same time. If that door is open it completely seals the entrance to the room. Amenities were basic and shower gel and soap came from industrial dispensers. The lotion with the hotel logo seemed like a hand-me-down from a previous guest. It was only half full and looked used. Bed was badly made each day, looking rumpled and careless. Towels were thrown back in the hangers and barely folded. This was a disappointing experience, I woke up tired every day.
