Subject: Serious Complaint Regarding Failed Booking and Poor Stay Experience at The Kings Resort
Dear Hotels.com Customer Support Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my booking at The Kings Resort, which I made through Hotels.com and paid for in full.
When we arrived at the resort, we were informed that our booking had not been confirmed by the property, despite having completed the booking and payment through your platform. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the evening with two children and two senior citizens, leaving us with no practical option but to accept the only available room.
The room provided was in an extremely poor condition. The bedsheets appeared unwashed, there was a bad smell, and the bed had visible dirt and stains. The food was also very disappointing. Furthermore, air conditioning was not included in the package, despite the total cost being approximately ₹9,000
Because we were travelling with children and senior citizens, we had to accept these unacceptable arrangements due to the circumstances. I was also forced to pay the resort again to secure accommodation after being told that my original booking was not confirmed.
This experience caused considerable inconvenience, stress and additional expense for my family.
I request that Hotels.com investigate this incident, explain why my paid booking was not confirmed with the property, and arrange an appropriate refund or compensation for the inconvenience and poor
