When we first drove to the property, I was a little concerned. The route passes through what appears to be private property, and the area is still being developed. However, any concerns disappeared once we arrived. The property was wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying views of Pine Creek, listening to the water, and watching spectacular sunsets. Evenings around small fires by the creek were especially memorable. While the home is not large, it is thoughtfully designed and well equipped with a dishwasher, full oven and stove, washing machine, strong Wi‑Fi, a large TV in the living room, and another TV in the second bedroom. Each room has air conditioning, and the property comfortably accommodates four to six guests. One of my favorite parts of our stay was falling asleep with the windows slightly open to the sounds of crickets, birds, and other wildlife. We regularly saw deer and even elk from the property at dusk. The location was perfect for outdoor activities. We spent our days fishing and mushroom hunting, with great success catching trout and finding morel and bolet mushrooms.Heidi and Ken were fantastic hosts. Since they live nearby, they were available if needed while still giving us complete privacy. The Wi‑Fi was strong enough to use comfortably even while sitting outside by the creek.I often judge a property by one question: “Would I come back?” In this case, the answer is an easy yes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
