It's a old hotel. Couldn't find place to sit for breakfast( may be due to heavy rush of holidays). Overall, you could stay somewhere outside the city and pay less with newer hotels.

It was great, room service was great the staff are all very friendly. Not to mention the continental breakfast isn't your ordinary continental breakfast. I had a choice of sausage scrambled eggs waffles yogurt oatmeal fruits coffee juices ... in the end, saving us money by the end of our stay. We came down from orange county california and I would love to return to half moon bay. Specifically the lodge here . Thanks for adding to our great family memories ! Gym was adequate , sona , heated pool and jacuzzi people were literally in the pull by eight in the morning so heated properly. Honestly not one complaint. Thane HMB Lodge !!

Overall this property was cute, clean, and had many features including a fire pit and outdoor games which were nice. However, I chose this place over others because it was pet friendly, but had I known what the pet fee was I would have chosen a different place. I do not recommend coming here with a dog unless you are willing to pay $90 (plus tax!) for their stay. In my experience, this is much higher than the average and I was surprised to hear the amount at check in. Otherwise, the rooms and property were nice, I am just disappointed that my pet fee could have paid for a whole additional nights stay.

The room didn’t appear to be very clean. The prior guests had left cut up pills on the bathroom floor. Our heating unit didn’t work very well so we had to ask for additional blankets to stay warm. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when we called about the heater not working well. I also didn’t like to have to call in advance to have my room freshened up.

1. La recepcionista inicial fue muy poco amable. 2. La limpieza del cuarto no la hicieron. Mi perro encontró una pelota de otro perro debajo de la cama y encontre en una esquina, restos de enviltorio de medicinas de pasajeros anteriores. La alfombra estaba con muchos pelos de perro. (No eran de mi perro, porque mi pero es un Xoloitzcuintli sin pelo) 3. Una mañana antes de las 9.30am en el cuarto de un lado golpeaban la pared con un martillo. Evidentemte era reparaciones. Cuando reclamé en revepcion me respondieron que era mantenimiento. A lo que respondí, denerian avisar o simplemente haverlo cuando no molesten a los guespedes que estan ahi por vacaciones, por asintos medicos o por lo que sea. 4. El laboratorio del baño estaba tapado con pelos de perro. Al pedor que porfavor lo revisaran. Me contestaron que era un trabajo grande que podian darnos otro cuarto. Y que podian ayudarnos a mover las cosas. Del piso 2 al 1 sin ascensor. Nadie nos ayudó. (Puede ser algo simple para cualquiera pero para alguien con uma reviente cirugía como yo, no fué simple. 5. Antes de las 8.30am estaban cortanto el pasto. Obvio que son cosas que se deben hacer. Pero a u. Horario prudente como el mantenimiento y reparaciones.

It’s very pricey, considering that it has some flaws being an older building. There’s no air-conditioning and when we came into the room, it was musty same for the gym facility. The toilet was running and not always stopping after flushing. And the shower was not strong at all when having more hot water. They try to circumvent with a different spray head, but it still was inadequate.
