Very large room. Loved the ocean view and the public bath: thereโ€™s two on site. If you have time, the whole neighborhood is full of onsens so itโ€™s a good base to explore. Very close to the airport, only 10-15 minutes away. From central hakodate itโ€™s about 40 minutes on the tram.

The hotel was a bit outdated, but well maintained and clean. Amenities were thoughtful and easy to find. We were invited to help ourselves to combs, hair ties, cotton pads, and extra yukatas to borrow. LThere was a sauna, jet bath, and an outside bath overlooking the ocean(roten buro). Staff were courteous and helpful. I was glad choosing the option including the breakfast, which was amazing, and had a variety of traditional Japanese, American, and dessert foods.

Everything was good during the stay except that itโ€™s a bit far from JR Station, and the bus service wasnโ€™t that frequent for getting around.

Property was located a bit far away from the train stations but close to the airport. Staff was pleasant and courteous. The breakfast and dinner buffets were incredible! Plenty of choices and food was super fresh and delicious! Definitely would recommend this place for a relaxing few days.

We enjoyed our stay here. The food was delicious. The service was attentive. We were just not used to how hot the Japan onsen was but it was nice to have two different area. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong tables and the vintage video game room. We enjoyed the dinner buffet, but the breakfast could be better. The bedding - sleep mats were super thin and were hard to sleep on. We did asked for it to be double up to help with the hard floor. The front desk was able to arrange for this except if we want it set up by the staff there is additional charge. We didnโ€™t mind doing it ourselves for free.

This is a budget hotel that I normally would not go for. We only chose this hotel because our stay coincided with a marathon in Hakodate and this was one of a few hotels that still had available rooms. I didnโ€™t have high expectations given its relatively low review score but I still felt disappointed with my stay. The room was older than I expected although it was clean. We stayed in a Japanese-style room and the futons were so thin that I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I had stayed at a Japanese-style room several times at other hotels. This was the first time that I had trouble sleeping. What made me feel worse was that they hiked the room rate because of the marathon, and I had to pay more than 40,000 Japanese yen for 1 night in such an old and uncomfortable room. The only positive thing was their friendly staff. A Mandarin-speaking girl helped us with the check-in and explained everything clearly. She also helped us booked a taxi as we had an early flight the next morning. I really appreciated that.
