Wonderful hotel. Great location next to hub of buses going into Haarlem Central and Hoofdorp and easy access to Amsterdam. Very quiet yet 10 minute walk into centre of historic Haarlem. Great restaurant nearby Pip. Would suggest small drying rack above luggage shelf for travellers.

Spacious and well equipped bedroom. We had a balcony room with nice views over the neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast buffet and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated in a very upmarket part of Harleem with a bus stop right by the hotel, as we travelled to the station most days for the train ride to Amsterdam. Overall a lovely 4 night stay.

Attentive and super friendly staff, clean, bike rental on site . Nice bar and they gave us complimentary drink coupons on the days that we didn’t require housekeeping! That was really nice :) location is in a quiet spot next to the bus stop within walking distance of May restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when in Haarlem !

The Carleton square Hotel in Haarlem, NL is an excellent place to stay. Within walking distance of the town center even for seniors with mobility issues. Very clean and comfortable. The elevator was a must. Most importantly the staff are warm, friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant is excellent. We definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel just 20 minutes from Amsterdam! The design is absolutely beautiful—stylish, modern, and thoughtfully done throughout. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the city while being tucked into a quieter, more relaxed setting. The on-site restaurant was a highlight—both stunning and delicious, with a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, making everything feel smooth and welcoming.
