The hotel itself was lovely. Restaurant was great. Our server was fantastic. Staff at the front desk were nice as well. My only complaint was after 2 days I asked for maid service for our bathroom and clean towels. When I came back to my room there was a bag of 2 towels and a washcloth hanging on the door knob. Called to complain and the girl from the desk came up and brought us clean cups, tea and coffee and took away or dirty towels. She said there was no one there from housekeeping.So..

Highly recommend

Large clean room with good a/c. The added fold up bed for an adult was quite large and comfortable although expensive. 2nd time at this hotel this year. Food is always good. Great location for restaurants, shopping and airport.

A public parking garage is under the hotel & the hotel will give you a discount card to use. Yes, you can use the card for in & out repeatedly. Great savings.

This hotel was absolutely the best - excellent for shopping, dining and sightseeing. It was a very convenient location for getting to the airport via the bus. Definitely would recommend as a place to stay in Haarlem and will return if we should ever be in the area!

4th time staying at Carlton Square, however it was not a good as previously. Shower was leaking and smellt like a bin. We used towels to mop up the flooding. Floor lamp broke with No electricity and the coffee machine was also broken. Reported all of this to Duty manager but they FAILED to get it sorted. Not acceptable Carlton Square. Will consider not staying here again. Poor service this time.

Fantastic experience at the Carlton Square. Haarlem is a very charming and comfortable place, and we slept in maybe the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The Carlton Square is an oasis in the middle of an oasis.
