The suite was even better than expected! Very spacious, clean, had touches of a home so it didn't feel like staying in a hotel or bland rental. The owner/manager was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. We hated to leave and would recommend staying numerous nights at Soi Hanok Stay!

Unique hanok accomodation in a great location!

Staying here was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! Staying in a hanok-style house was such a unique and lovely experience. The place was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The host was incredibly accommodating throughout.

The best place we stayed in South Korea!

The best place we stayed in South Korea! Authentic Hanok with a regular bed that allows you to experience an Hanok with the comfort of your home. The location was great as well, walking distance to all main attractions. The host was great, answering immediately to all our questions with great recommendations for restaurants. The host was was also so kind to offer us complementary Korean breakfast. A place to return to!

What a nice experience staying in the Hanok. It has all the modern conveniences while feeling rustic at the same time. The host was easy to communicate with and the complimentary Korean breakfast was delicious. Wish I could have stayed an extra night.

This is a lovely place to stay - surprisingly quiet in a busy part of town. The host got in touch the day before to check our arrival time and sent us the address in Korean to help the taxi driver. She met us very promptly at the door and showed us to the room, which was very comfortable and welcoming. One morning we were able to arrange a Korean breakfast, which was delicious. All in all, a lovely experience in a beautiful property. I'm glad we chose to stay at Soi Hanok!

We loved staying at Soi Hanok! We wish we had stayed for more than one night in Gyeongju! The property was amazing and cute and right in the heart of Hwangnamdong where all of the restaurants and bars are. Everything is in walking distance, the tombs, the observatory, the bridge and lake! It was an amazing stay and our hostess was awesome taking care of our transportation requests. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Gyeongju

I’d stay 3 nights instead of two to allow for wandering the beautiful streets. Everything that we wanted to see was in walking distance but another day to head out to Pohang for the spacewalk would have been ideal too. Location was excellent, our host went out of her way from chatting to the taxi driver en route to the hanok, providing a delicious delivered breakfast, suggesting restaurants- both of which we ate at and loved, and arranging a big taxi for our departure (our cases were too big for a sedan.) I’d been recommended Soi Hanok by a friend who’d stayed there and I’d also recommend it. A great stay in a great town with wonderful hospitality.

Soi Hanok Stay is a wonderful place — beautiful, spotless, and full of charm, blending traditional hanok style with modern comfort. The host was truly exceptional. She made us feel welcome from the start and went out of her way to help us, even assisting with our laundry. We are also very grateful for the Korean breakfast that was offered during our stay — such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. The location is perfect, right in the historic area and within walking distance of Gyeongju’s main attractions, cafés, and restaurants. We are so grateful for the hospitality and highly recommend Soi Hanok Stay to anyone visiting Gyeongju.

This Hanok was very spacious and the staff was very informative. The area is very walkable with all the sites and restaurants close by. We were able to navigate the bus without any difficulty. I loved the sitting room in the back of our hanok. Everything was lovely and it was one of my favorite stays on my trip. If you visit Gyeongju I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Soihanuk. The host was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. It’s close to shops and restaurants. Most attractions are within walking distance. Highly recommended.
