The laundry was very worn and there was garbage in boxes and bags under the stairwell. Bed was comfortable. The entry to the rooms was outside.

Bad things in the room.

Faucet was difficult to turn on. The light over the sink went on and off like there was a short or something wrong with it. Screws were sticking up on the threshold between the room and the bathroom. The mattresses were very hard and felt like springs were poking up.

Parking is very limited. Floors seemed clean, but left bare feet really dirty. Breakfast had everything, but limited on the sides like shredded cheddar for the eggs, whip cream or bananas or nuts for the waffles. Very convenient though on location. I still would stay there again.

They need a maintenance person on duty. There was dirt and wrappers on the outdoor carpeting leading to the rooms and on the stairs. The air vent in the bathroom was filthy with dust. The jetted tub had a broken plug so you couldn't fill the tub and turn on the jets. The pool had insulation falling out of the roof onto a catwalk above the pool. The jets for the hot tub didn't work. There were several lights out in the pool building. It said to shower before entering the pool/hot tub but there was no shower.

We thought the location was excellent in regards to being right in town. Restaurants and shopping were within walking distance with a park nearby to walk our dog. Parking was also very convenient and the staff was very nice. Kudos for the hot water and excellent pressure in the shower. Our room could have been cleaner with the floor feeling dirty to our feet. There was noticable dirt in the corners of the bathroom and overall there were cosmetic opportunites with our room. ( peeling wall paper, crooked light fixtures, squeaky beds) . Our room was located near the stairs leading to the second floor. Consequently, we heard the comings and goings of the other guests. Overall, I would have to say that our experience was just OK when considering the room rate.
