This is a very adequate, clean, comfortable place to stay for the night. It is not new, it is not flashy or especially modern, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great, and everything worked as expected. It’s not trying to be anything it’s not.

Gunnison is bad value for hotels

Claimed to be updated, but the doors had keyed locks. Gunnison is just overpriced. The following night I stayed at an updated Laquinta in Denver at $30 less per night and way, way, way nicer.

Convenient location on main drag but in need of renovation and comfortable beds. Rm 203 had a canted tub/shower combo and mirror image water control! I felt like I was in a funhouse! The chairs were stained and the freezer compartment was way overdue for a defrost.
