Stayed overnight to attend the Whitby Goth Fest on the way down from Whitley Bay. The hotel staff were great, the restaurant and bar were very good, food was excellent. Room was absolutely fine, no complaints.

My work brought me here a few times before so when an overnight stay was required it seemed obvious to use the hotel Staff were great, food was lovely, rooms cozy and plenty on offer Ben on reception and restaurant was particularly helpful - I will definitely stay again …

Really enjoyed my stay here at the Cross Keys. Was meeting up with family for a wedding in Saltburn. It was in a lovely quiet setting, beautifully decorated interior, quirky with a simple country style decor. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Ben and Laura who always made sure you was comfortable and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay and recommend this place again.

Amazing weekend break away with family members attending a family wedding. The hotel was welcoming, with enthusiastic and friendly staff. A great location to stay for our purposes, but would gladly return in future if needing to stay in the area.

The staff here are really nice and helpful. The place is comfortable and well located on the road but still quiet for a decent night sleep. The place is looking a bit run down, housekeeping do a great job (clean bed, surfaces, bathroom, towels) but it could do with a deep clean (stains on walls, clean the carpets etc) but its a very reasonable price

Good base for visiting the east coast.

The hotel is well situated for visiting Whitby and Saltburn, pleasant bar and dining area. The food was excellent a d reasonable price as well. Well worth a visit and we shall certainly be calling again.
