On the rugged west coast of Tenerife, just steps from the sea and set in the heart of a vast banana plantation, you’ll find "Casa Verode," a traditional Canarian house. One of six houses originally built over 70 years ago for harvest workers, it has been fully renovated to offer you a peaceful and crowd-free holiday on the largest Canary Island.
All on one floor, the house features a living/dining room with sofa, a well-equipped kitchen with oven, coffee maker, microwave, and large fridge/freezer, two bedrooms each with two single beds, and a bathroom with shower and toilet, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests.
Amenities include Wi-Fi and TV. A cot and high chair are available on request. There is a washing machine, as well as another one available on request. The owners live on the plantation and have a dog that sometimes roams freely, as well as chickens and turtles.
Outside, you’ll enjoy a private terrace with coastal and sea views, furnished with a table, chairs, and sun loungers. In front of the house, there’s a second private, covered, and shaded terrace. The complex also offers a shared garden with barbecue, private sea access with a natural seawater pool less than 5 minutes’ walk away. The sea views along this coast are stunning—you can see as far as La Gomera and La Palma, and also the El Teide volcano.
In the nearby village of Alcalá, you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants within 1.5 to 2 km, about a 15–20 minute walk. There are also other natural sea pools and beaches. The nearest airport is Tenerife South, about 39 km or a 35-minute drive away.
Parking is available on the property. Pets are allowed.
