It was late when we arrived.We got a taxi from the airport for 14. Alice had kindly bought us bread, cheese, ham, butter and water so that we didn't have to go looking for the 24hr supermarket when we arrived. We loved the location looking onto the bay. It was on a main road but not too noisy.The area we stayed in (around Birzebbuga) wasn't touristy but you could walk 5-10mins to some nice restaurants and bars or prepare food in the apartment, which was well equipped.

Perfect for our needs - scenic bayside location, fully self contained, spacious with a roof-terrace perfect for a summer evening or morning. Aircon makes the living area comfortable for all seasons. We had great communication with the host and a thoughtful welcome package made for a very pleasant stay. The property was incorrectly located on VRBO but hopefully this will be sorted. Bus service to Valletta is convenient and goes every 20 minutes. If you appreciate being away from the busy tourist areas but still having reasonable access to them, this is a great place to stay.

Das Appartment ist wundervoll authentisch vom Stil und von der Lage und bietet einen tollen Blick von der Terasse. Die Küche ist mit Allem notwendigen ausgestattet um sich auf Wunsch voll zu verpflegen. Fußläufig gibt es einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, der erstaunlich gut aufgestellt war, auch eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Lage ist eher ruhig, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Erreichbarkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeberin: Sie hat uns zur Ankunft Wasser und Lebensmitteln für ein vollwertiges Frühstück versorgt, dabei hat sie sich sehr bemüht auf unsere Vorlieben und Wünsche einzugehen (unter anderem vegane Lebensmittel).
