Welcome to the old mill house at Røbro Mølle – a truly unique stay on Bornholm, where historic charm meets modern comfort.

The property was completely renovated in 2026 with great respect for its original character. Beautiful details from the traditional timber-framed architecture have been preserved and combined with a bright, elegant interior, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere with a strong sense of quality and authenticity.

This is a place we care deeply about and are delighted to share with guests who wish to experience Bornholm from a more peaceful and authentic perspective.

The house is the former miller's residence and is situated in complete privacy on a large protected nature estate. Surrounded by open countryside, it offers a rare sense of space, tranquillity, and connection to nature. From the property, you can enjoy sea views and watch the changing light across the landscape throughout the day. It is the kind of place where life naturally slows down.

The main house offers 220 square metres (2,370 sq ft) of living space and was carefully renovated in 2026. We have sought to preserve the soul and history of the original building while creating a bright, comfortable, and contemporary home. It is not a sterile modern renovation, but rather a harmonious blend of old and new where the character of the house remains very much alive.

The layout works particularly well for larger groups and families.

On the ground floor, you will find a spacious open-plan kitchen with a large kitchen island, seamlessly connected to the dining area and living space. This serves as the natural gathering point of the house. Two bedrooms are also located on this floor – one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Both bathrooms are conveniently situated on the ground floor, making everyday life practical and comfortable when travelling as a group.

The first floor features a large lounge and living area, perfect for relaxing together after a day exploring Bornholm. In addition, there are four bedrooms on this level. Three of the rooms feature double beds, while the fourth contains two single beds, providing flexibility for different group arrangements.

For families travelling with young children, three travel cots are available and can be placed in any bedroom if required. The house also features a cosy loft area with three folding mattresses, providing additional sleeping space for children.

Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided for all standard beds, and the house is fully prepared to accommodate up to 12 guests upon arrival. Guests using the loft sleeping area should bring their own bedding and linens.

Outside, the extensive terrace is one of the property's highlights. Approximately 150 square metres (1,600 sq ft) of wooden decking surrounds the house, offering several spaces to relax and enjoy the scenery. The outdoor area includes a covered terrace, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower, which is particularly refreshing after a swim or a day by the sea. On warm days, it is easy to spend most of your time outdoors.

For year-round comfort, the entire ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, making the house equally enjoyable during the cooler months. An electric vehicle charging station is also available on-site.

For us, this is more than simply a holiday home. It is a place filled with history, peace, and atmosphere, and we hope our guests experience the same feeling during their stay.
