Coral Costa is not a luxury resort, but a very good "mid range" option for a short stay. The hotel in on the best stretch of beach in Juan Dolio, wide and long with palm trees providing shade. The low-rise buildings are much prettier and cosier than the modern towers of luxury hotels further along the shore. Food at the buffet is excellent and top quality, with huge variety of both local and international foods (including plenty of choice for vegetarians) and frequent special themes at dinner - seafood, Dominican, asian etc. Service is good and the staff friendly, really looking after the guests. What could have been better were their inclusive alcoholic drinks - local beers were very good, but wines were fake (fruit juice mixed with alcohol) and most coctails unrecognisable; "upgraded" drinks were available but only by the bottle (who would buy a bottle of rum to have a few coctails?). Although there were some activities and entertainment during the day and evening, as well as the special dinners mentioned above but no programme available - one had to keep asking each day at the reception, restaurant and beach office to find out what was on for that day / evening.

Tuvimos unas vacacioes extraordinarias en el Coral Costa Caribe. Su personal es super amable y contagian su buena vibra a todos. La comida es con sabor criollo, con un menú variado para todas las nacionalidades, el pan fresco y delicioso. La limpieza impecable en los cuartos y todas las areas del hotel. Las actividades en la piscina y playa son divertidas y para toda la familia!!

Very nice room. Most of the staff was excellent. The food was plentiful and quite good for an all inclusive. Food was available all night at the snack bar, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, pizza, French fries and excellent fried chicken. The 24 hour sports bar was cozy and the bar tenders were great. The front desk staff especially Karoline did everything she could to ensure a good stay. The waitresses were friendly,attentive and accomodating. All in All a great stay.

nice beach, good entertaining stuff. The hotel is compact. The rooms are Kind of cleaned: the floor was not once wiped, the towels are old and tired, gave us 2 towels for 3 people. Called the receptions, they brought the towels within 5 minutes. Overall, would come here again. Good hotel

Staff was very kind and accommodating, the resort was very safe with 24hr security at the front. The food was all very delicious and well prepared. The beach was well maintained and cleaned every morning and evening, along with that the room was made up every day between 12-2 which was perfect with beach/lunch schedule. The bartenders were very quick to serve everyone and ensure the drinks are not too strong since it was open access all day. The air conditioning worked very well in the room, we did have a slight issue with small amounts of water leaving out of the ac unit, but that was fixed by the very next day, the ac worked so well we found ourselves turning it off in the night some days. The show put on by the staff and the engaging experiences made by them throughout the beach days was amazing as well. Overall I would recommend this resort to others and even stay again!

My husband and I travel a lot. We decided to spent Christmas and New Year Eve there. Total of 10 days. As a matter of face we just came back home from DR this morning. 95% of the people who work there can’t speak or understand English, Including front desk. But most of them are very sweet. The food DEFINITELY should get upgraded. Not that many options specially for breakfast. If I had to grade the food for breakfast would be 2/10 for lunch 4/10 and for dinner maybe 5/10. The beach is huge and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the beach so much. I’m sorry to say this, but we won’t be back there again 😢

Family of 4 just returned from a 5 night stay. The property is well kept, the rooms were clean, the property is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a great value for the price. I would return here!

Beach and room was fine but the food oh god the food was absolutely terrible, it got to the point where I had to get creative and make my own food using ingredients they had lying around the buffet. Even the a la carte restaurants were low quality even though it was packaged as higher class eating. If you’re there for the beach and the unlimited alcohol sure go for it but honestly the food was a deal breaker for me

I was a guest with my spouse December 22 through December 26th, 2025. I arrived 4 hours early and waited for 3pm check in time. The lobby was filled of people. No seats available to sit. Once 3pm, i got in line to check in. I reached the frontdesk and the youmg lady was so flustered that she gave me the room keys and only told me "your room is in front of the buffet restaurant". I was not told what direction to go. I did not know where the buffet restaurant was located. I asked someone walking by for directions.I dropped off my bags and enjoyed the premises. I went to my room at 11:20pm to realize the room was above the discoteco. The discoteco was playing loud music. They are open to 2am. I went to the front desk and requested to be moved. Mr.Salbino or Mr. Salbio told me i booked a standard double bed room and there are no rooms available. There was a young lady next to him that started to call out room numbers available. They had only 2 king size bed rooms available. The only rooms available that were standard. At this point, i told him that forget the standard room price and to let me know what was available. He told me there are NO rooms available. I told him the young lady called out rooms number available. He insisted that i paid standard. At this point, its about customer service. I told my husband we will sleep in the lobby and A MIRACLE HAPPEN, a double bed room became available. It was now 12:03am. A roach in the bathroom and 2 ants on the desk. Dirty towels.
