Booked the lodge for 2 nights and could have stayed 10, the host and his wife were absolutely wonderful. Cute little cabin surrounded by gardens and trees, bar fridge, fan, tv, wifi, and a nice bathroom stocked with clean towels. The very slight extra cost for breakfast is recommended and very tasty. When checking in we were given a paper with a map of the area, the host circled the free hot springs and other attractions. Very friendly to chat with. The lodge sits in front of the Miravalles Volcano. This is a great gem and worth the stay.

When we enter , we see big spider and lizard inside room and it was appeared night time so many small ants and insects inside room as well ..

Lumara Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The garden is enchanting, and the host is super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, and their breakfast is simple and delicious. The room is a bit dated and could use a few touch-ups. Everything else is great.
