Arriving to start my trip minor inconveniences with two sets of room keys not working shortly after receiving them. Getting into the room and noticing visible dust that had accumulated over weeks of neglect near the ac unit, a dead roach that had I’d assumed been there for about as long as the dust. The refrigerator was filthy, coming out of the walls you see screws that have been shoddily plastered over with an inch of visible nail sticking out.
The hotel staff are wholly unprofessional, from seeing the cleaning staff and what seems to be the maintenance staff smoking vape pens in the rooms they’re to be working in, while doing a terrible job of not trying to hide it as their on the first floor with the windows wide open to see them. The entire staff at various times will stare at you without considering the idea to speak if you come in or walking out.
The only positive is that to get new room keys they need to verify your ID, so from a safety perspective that was great.
Out of all of my recent hotel stays, this was by far the worst. If all comfort inns were to be like this then I will safely never spend my money with them again.
