We really liked the manager's reception, and the lobby is really nice. We were supposedly "upgraded" to a balcony room, but they put us in an accessible room without telling us first, which may be more convenient for someone with a disability, but isn't as nice and is less convenient for us. The balcony was over a loud AC unit, so we couldn't enjoy it anyway, and the room was a little beat up. We stayed here four years ago and thought it was really nice, so we were disappointed by the downturn. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either.

Excellent service from the staff. They sent several text asking how are stay was going and if we needed anything. Had one small issue with the room’s thermostat but that was fixed in less than an hour of requesting the service.

We usually stay at Embassy Suites because of the convenience and walkability to shops and event venues. The accessibility to a balcony is nice. This trip, the room looked hurriedly put together. Bathroom toilet was not cleaned well, and sink was stopped; thus the 3-star rating. We do not feel that the level of quality matches with the extremely high room rate for this facility.

My husband and I were in Greenville for business and this was our first time there. What a wonderful city! And picking the Embassy Suites was perfect. We would recommend to anyone. The location is perfect - beautiful right on river place. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked a 2-room suite which was great. Would definitely stay there again.
