The 1st room I was assigned had a broken lock and could not be opened with the pass key. The 2nd room was barely supplied, with on glasses, no coffee maker, ONE bar of soap, and few towels. The pool was drained for repairs and overall condition of the facility was shabby. The last straw was seeing a roach on the wall in the room. I've used the Days Inn, Washington, NC numerous times in the past but won't be going back after my experience this past weekend!

Couldn’t stay the night!

This motel was dirty and falling apart. The pool was empty and the paint coming off of the whole place. The sanitation rating was 86 so I left even though they wouldn’t refund me.

I really hate to post this as the leadership at the front desk was more than gracious. I count myself as fault not trusting the other reviews. If you are a contract worker and need a place to lay your head, the bed was clean. The bathroom had toothpaste on the sink and mirror from last renter. A hair pin and penny behind the toilet I saw immediately. The room next door, I saw 7 guys go in to share the suite. I'm thankful my son was with me or I would've been more cautious than I was. The front desk did tell me, what ever you need I'll fix, unfortunately because of my choice that wasn't possible.

Dreadful

Urine smell in the entire room. Some kind of insects were biting me. The air conditioner was loud and did not cool the room below 78 to 80 deg F. Dreadful.

I should have received a discount as the pool was not open and there was nothing really for breakfast. The water pressure was too low to take a shower, the door was difficult to open or close. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk. The bed was the best part as it was comfortable. The TV only had 4 channels an 2 of them were poor reception.

There was a used towel hanging in the bathroom. The bathtub was dirty. The bedding was stained. I went to the front desk to ask for cleaning supplies. Clerk came and cleaned the tub and took the towel but didn’t bring more clean towels. Got a smoking room. Smelled like old dirty ashtray. Had to buy my own stuff to tolerate the stench after airing it out for a couple of hours. Left early

The property was run down and neglected. The rooms were not up to date and not very nice. I stayed 2 days. The room wasn’t cleaned while I was there. There danish and coffee was not fresh Mini breakfast muffins ( not good) Luke warm to cold coffee. If there would be a next time which I doubt, I would sleep in my truck. Water in shower didn’t get above Luke warm . I could go on but not a good ex at all. Very overpriced for the service I received. Oh yeah killed a couple of cockroaches too.

Extremely dirty floors, did not trust the linen so we went to Walmart and bought sheets and 2 pillows and remade the bed. 3 pillows for a king bed? Most hotels have 4 and the 3rd pillow looked like it hadnt been cleaned. The light in the bathroom is shorted and flashes like a disco light. Theres no guide for the TV channels so we had to guess what channels were working. Theres no trash can. The refrigerator doesnt have a freezer portion to put our bag of ice in, because theres no buckets to put ice in. The pool is out of order! Came to this hotel because it had 4.4 rating. There is no way this is a 4 star rating hotel!
