Room was just ok in terms of cleanliness and could really use an update. The evening staff were rude and unhelpful when I had a problem turning lights off! The light switches were in an obscure location and when I was unable to locate the switch, the night clerk was rude and even hung up on me. Not a very nice experience. (Also, pillows were very hard and uncomfortable and the room was quite warm.)

Needs paint, web site showed amenities that were not there. No hot water at breakfast. Broken microwave at breakfast that had been there awhile and Management new about. Animal next door barking. Did not understand most of employees. Overall would not stay again.

We love staying here and have done so multiple times. It's very close to Idylwild Park, and we love being able to walk through historic downtown Ligonier and to the Fort! Such a beautiful historic city.

The hotel was clean and perfect location. It has not been updated in over 20 years which is disappointing for as beautiful a town around the hotel. Staff was very kind.

A very nice hotel. Good service. Good facilities. Good breakfast. Great room. One exception. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years. I’ve never had one where the television did not work. It did not work at all. It made for a very long evening.

Super easy check-in, staff were great , fantastic location to explore the town. But…there were quite a few crawling bugs in the room, so that was disappointing , but the front desk were very nice when I informed them.

The property is older and there are a few maintenance issues, such as rust on some of the tub fixtures. The property is in need of a renovation, but if you need or want to stay in the area, it is a decent choice.

Arrived earlier than planned, but we were told there would be an up charge of $30. Passed on the opportunity to spend more. Checked in at the correct hour. Room was clean mostly, just old and dated. Bathroom was so small that we had to turn to face the tub to close the door. Air conditioning worked very well. Easy to get the temp we liked. We booked this hotel because it had a pool. However, there was broken plastic tables (3 of them) strewn about the pool area. The maintenance building was unlocked. The handrails leading down into the water was loose and very shaky. We didn’t swim at all and saw nobody else swim either. The public door the the back parking lot has an air conditioner right above it that drips constantly. There was always a puddle right there as we went in or out the two nights that we stayed. Oh, and I do not know why, but every morning a maid sat on a chair by the elevator watching people come and go and even looking out the door to watch us get in cars etc……This is a hotel in decline.

The price of the rooms are too much. The pool area needs a complete revamp seriously needs a good power washing new tiles in the pool. They could do some amazing stuff at that pool. There was smell of mold throughout the hallways, though my room was clean, nice and tidy, and the staff was very friendly.
