"The staff were incredibly helpful. We ended up arriving after the set check in time due to a mixup with the time zones but they were very kind and understanding. They recommended a lot of local sights and trails and were very easy to talk to. The room itself was very cozy and the amenities were more than enough. Definitely worth a stay if you’re ever in the area."

"The hotel staff were amazing. The hotel is older, but we'll kept, and a great location. We had a drink at the bar, and it took you back in time, and the drinks were, well cheap. The only complaint I have, was that the restaurant was closed and they were only selling pizzas out of the bar. I didn't see any info letting us know that when we booked."

"We had such a nice time this weekend at John’s place. He was super helpful with check in, has accurate photos of the listing, and the area is serene and peaceful. The sauna was the best! We picked this place because it was central to many outdoor recreational areas and far away from the hustle and bustle of city horns and highway rush hour traffic. Ontonagon is about 12 minutes up the road so we were able to pick up any last minute items as well as check out some of the local eateries. Perfect for a couples retreat or small family gathering, would recommend !!"
