Discover the beauty of Eastern Shore in Greenbackville from this 4-bedroom house. During your stay - Guests will find two king beds, one queen bed, and 2 twin beds (Roll Away and Pack-n-Play available upon request) perfect for families or groups. The house features two bathrooms, each equipped with a hair dryer for convenience. Enjoy a comfortable stay with heating and air conditioning to keep the temperature just right. Upon entering the home, you will be welcomed by a large living area with wood burning fireplace and a 65" Smart TV. The first floor has 2 bedrooms (1 King and 2 twins - each room has a 58" Smart TV) and a full bath. The kitchen area has granite countertops, seating for 2-3 at the breakfast bar with an adjacent dining area that seats six. Then there is the Pond Room, that has a spectacular views, a 2nd refrigerator, coffee bar, table and 4 chairs, plus a seating area with a couch and 2 chairs ALL overlooking the stunning pond view full of wildlife. Step out onto the large deck featuring a pergola with outdoor dining for 6, addidional seating area for 6-10 overlooking the serenity of the tidal pond. You are welcome to cast a line (Catch and release only), watch the abundant wildlife including deer, eagles, osprey, herons and funny jumping fish. Highest jump count is 8 - see if you can beat it. The second floor offers two large bedrooms (1 King - Roku TV and 1 Queen room - Smart TV) and a full bath. Home has plenty of storage space, 2 refrigerators, board/card games. This quaint home offers a phenomenal space to relax after a day of exploring. Pond Paradise is located in Captains Cove which offers additional amenities - 1 outdoor pool, 1 indoor pool and a public golf course. (The amenities are available at an addition charge to the guests, information available upon request). The outdoor pool offers a Tiki bar from 3 pm - 8 pm Wed thru Sunday. There is also Marina Club dining room, prices are reasonable -food is good and local entertainment usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There is also the Town Center Grille offering breakfast and great sandwiches/platers and salads open 8 am to 6 pm. There is plenty of local fishing, but license required. You can also just walk around our neighborhood to find why we love it here. However, if you like quaint towns - Chincoteague is a must see located 25-30 minutes away. Chincoteague is the home of the famous Misty of Chincoteague books. There is an annual Pony Swim each summer and carnivals on the weekends in July. Assateague National Park offers WILD PONIES, a great beach, visitor center and numerous biking/walking trails. If you want to cruise the boardwalk - Ocean City is about 40-45 minutes away. There is lots of shopping and an Outlet Mall located in West Ocean City. Berlin is a must visit, voted Best Small Town in Maryland. There are many additional small towns, shops, historic areas, outdoor areas to explore. An enjoyable retreat that feels like a true home away from home, we hope you enjoy your stay.
