"As nicely appointed as the rooms and physical structure of the hotel was, we were kind of disappointed in the quality of the food in both the Waves Bar and Grill as well as the Oakwood dinning room. The food was eatable, but did not rise to expectations based on the other aspects of this hotel."

"Gorgeous home, peaceful location, awe inspiring nature views, gracious host, quaint community, relaxing vibes, and plenty of opportunities for entertainment at home. Matt was a superb host. The back views and easy access to walking conservatory trails was amazing. We plugged our gaming system into the walk-out basement’s system and even enjoyed some gaining with a fire going in the fireplace. Fishing was popular in the channel behind the home. We witnessed several jumping fish, turtles, deer, squirrels, and even a couple of beavers while staying there. Beds were comfy, showers were clean & hot. Loved coffee and a view every morning. Lots of privacy in comparison to what we saw at other lake properties. Lots of seating room both inside and outside. Would love to try kayaking the series of channels there. Best place we have ever stayed!!"
