The room did not look clean. Once walking in there was stains on the beds. They were stains on the towels. There was mold and dirt in the trashcan. The door handled to the room was falling off. I had to screw the screws back into it myself to feel safe glad we brought our dogs. There was just an awful feeling about the whole place. there was also dust everywhere in the room. I booked the room online paid for it already online told them I was bringing two dogs with me and once I got there there was an up charge of $80 total when it was supposed to be $20 per dog is what I was told on the phone. glad to say we was in hotel service. We had to strip our beds ourselves and clean our room before even attempting to put our stuff in the room. I also took pictures of everything, but they won’t let me upload it on here. And last but not least but when checking out, there was no one at the front desk. We had to leave our room key and door key in a basket at the front desk. The room key did not work. We had to use a door key to open our room.

Let's start with the positive. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The shower is great with lots of hot water . However, the carpet had not been vacuumed and had white bits every where. The light is so low I thought I'd was just carpet fuzz. Looking closely the stuff near the bed was toenails clippings. I didn't even want to know what the rest was. If you don't care about sanitation this place is fine. The gentleman who checked us in was lovely. The sink was glued back together and had no plug. The bathroom floor was black in the corners. You do what works for you.

We booked for 2 nights for a concert festival that was in the area. The facility was dated, the breakfast was okay, & the staff was friendly. All that said, the management and owners really should fix the issues. The room we were in was in awful condition & is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. It had just "had the AC fixed", which sometimes blew cold air, but mostly hot air. The mattresses were dated, & mattress covers very worn with holes but looked clean (no bed bugs). The sheets & towels had some stains (usually doesn't faze me much, but taking everything else into account gave me some pause). The furniture had obvious wear & tear, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls & following my 11 y.o. taking a shower, we found that there were cockroaches living behind the wallpaper. I don't mean just a few either; we killed over 50 of them just in 1hr. My 15 y.o. son, decided to sleep our van after we moved all of our things back out (only 1.5hr after arriving), & because it was 2:30 AM, we slept in the room with only the clothes on our backs, & still found one roach in our van. Thankfully, I had read some reviews & brought Lysol, which served a dual purpose of killing roaches & cleaning the surfaces & air in the place. We thought that it may have been isolated to our room, since the AC had been broken, but upon asking other guests all the other rooms had similar issues. We were refunded 1 night's stay after much hassle & I'm calling the health dept.to report it.

We have stayed here several ither times but this time the first room was musty smelling, it had stain on the bed linings, cobweb on the ceiling. The room they changed us too was a little better but they need to paint and get new tubs. A little work to the front rooms like they did the back would be great. The second room did have new matresses and those were good.
