Clean little place along Dixon Lake. The property owner was very responsive when we checked in. She mentioned they had just bought it and were fixing it up. It’s small but clean. Maybe some additional lighting and an end table could be added. We enjoyed it. It’s typical of up north.

Our annual trip to Dixon Lake Resort was quiet, peaceful, and just what we needed for a small get-away. Love seeing the continual upgrades that make our stay more pleasant.

We had a great stay! Great location and the accommodation were perfect for what we needed. It is a cottage place so keep that in mind. But it was extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were on our way up to the UP and stopped over for one night, but we’ll definitely stay longer next time. The hosts were very friendly and gave great dinner recommendations. I love retro style hotels and this one was a gem. Exceptionally clean and quite.

This place was perfect. My son and I went on a golf weekend. It was the best place we could’ve stayed. I loved looking at the lake rather than a parking lot. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to staying there next year.

A Great decision to come here.

We are so happy we came here. It was cozy, clean and the hosts were so kind. The view was so pretty. We enjoyed the fire at night and the calm of the setting. We are already planning our next stay for summer.

Our room had been recently remodeled and was in great shape. The room was very clean and quiet. It's not a fancy place but a nice and comfortable place to lodge. It's only a short drive (7 minutes) to downtown Gaylord but still off the beaten track. We enjoyed our time at Dixon Resort and would recommend it.

Hidden Gem!

Really enjoyed our last minute 4th of July weekend stay at Dixon Lake. The room had a beautiful lake view with all the supplies needed for our stay. The small lake was perfect for paddle board and floating and a small row boat was available for use. Looking forward to a return visit.

Rustic cottage with a great view

Quant, rustic old school Upper Michigan lake front cottage.We had work in the area and wanted to get in a little fishing and lake time. Not the Holiday Inn but that's why we chose it
