Our new, cozy vacation rental—completed in January 2022—occupies the entire top floor and is accessible via an elegant outdoor staircase. Our house was newly built in 2001 and is located on the outskirts of Grassau, in close proximity to the golf course and the moor nature reserve. The town center, with its shops and restaurants, is about 2 km away and easily accessible via sidewalks. Our house is an ideal starting point for outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and mountain tours, as well as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and sledding. The beach resort on the magnificent Lake Chiemsee, complete with a beach bar, invites you to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation. A boat trip to the nearby Herrenchiemsee Palace and Fraueninsel, or a cultural excursion to Salzburg—just 40 minutes away—is an unforgettable experience.<br> Enjoy your hiking, swimming, or skiing vacation in our new, cozy vacation apartment in the Chiemgau region, completed in January 2022. From the two balconies and large windows, you’ll have a magnificent view of the Chiemgau Alps.The bright apartment, which you reach via an elegant outdoor staircase, occupies the entire top floor and has been lovingly and comfortably furnished by us. It accommodates 4 people in two separate bedrooms. An additional sofa bed can be provided upon request in the connecting room with a closet. Bed linens, hand towels, dish towels, a parking space, a bike shed, and Wi-Fi are included. Our kitchen is very well-equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator, stovetop, oven, and dishwasher, and opens onto the dining and living area.<br> Start your day with breakfast in the morning sun and let the day come to a close amid the play of colors at sunset. Right from our house’s quiet location on the outskirts of town, bike and hiking trails lead into the nearby nature and marshland reserve. The golf course and sports facilities are within walking distance. It’s a 2-km walk to the town center, where you’ll find an ice cream parlor, pizzerias, and shops. The beach at Lake Chiemsee is just a few minutes’ drive away. The snow-sure Reit im Winkl, with its cross-country ski trails, and the Winklmoos-Steinplatte alpine ski area are about 25 minutes away.<br><br><br> We are family-friendly, always ready to listen to our guests, and happy to provide tips on leisure activities.<br> Important note: We do NOT rent to workers or technicians—only for tourist purposes!
