Let me start by saying, The holiday lodge was my home away from home when we would come visit Nevada city. Unfortunately with this last stay my home turned into an extended stay third world lodge. First the vanity lighting in the bathroom did not work , then we found a baseball size blood stain on are sheets, then to top it off the bed and pillows were so out dated. I’ve stayed in many of hotel rooms, but by far this is the worst and most uncomfortable room my wife and I have ever stayed. I Don’t usually write reviews. But for the price of the room the standard was far from being met. Honestly not even close. I will never pay to be UNCOMFORTABLE at THE HOLIDAY LODGE EVER AGAIN… I had good memories but this last stay really showed the LACK of CARE and PASSION for the once well respected lodge.

For a single night it did the job. Convenient, off the freeway. Not located in the quaintest part of town but safe. Very reasonably priced.

It was clean and staff were friendly. Very loud AC unit. The metal bed frames were noisy if bumped, which was easy to do every time of me got on of off the bed.

The WORST HOTEL EVER!!!’

This was the filthiest most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I do not recommended anyone ever staying here!! They also charged me $60 weeks after I stayed there and I called them about it they just hung up on me and will not answer the phone now!! They are criminal!!!

The bath is newly refreshed and good. All other things about the place is not good. The stairs are damaged and not clean. Property though looks clean, is not tidy

The room was very clean. Appreciated having a refrigerator and coffe maker in the room. Didn't want to shower because even though the shower appeared clean, the towels were small and very stained

Why is the pool dirty and not heated. I really wanted a swim, and asked for the dirty pool to be cleaned, but all they did was push the dirt around to other areas. Very poor.
