Weekend retreat!!

This is a wonderful, family run hotel. Bed and Breakfast with free car parking. There's a slight incline from the CP to the hotel, so be warned if you are frail. The bedroom we had, included a balcony which over looked the hills behind. There are no coffee/ tea making facilities. But we expected that, as we always bring our own. Bathroom is very clean. Clean towels and shower gel. Comfy bed too. Breakfast is a buffet affair. The dining room, is an ornate baroque style. You would be forgiven for thinking you had stepped into a Viennese tea room. Breakfast is 8 to 10. The bread rolls are freshly made on site. Absolutely delicious. Our hosts were kind, attentive and more than helpful to go that extra mile to make the stay comfortable. Sadly, due to staff shortages, there is no evening dining. Not a problem as there are a number of fine restaurants within a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Would recommend and will definitely come back.

Kleines Hotel mit Herz – aber nicht ganz auf große Menschen vorbereitet 😄 Ein wirklich ruhiges, charmantes kleines Hotel – erfüllt seinen Zweck und versprüht dabei bodenständigen Wohlfühl-Charme. Ideal zum Abschalten, wenn man mal nicht von Baustellenlärm oder Partyvolk geweckt werden will. Was mir leider den Morgen vermiest hat: Frühstück erst ab 8 Uhr. Blöd nur, wenn man selbst ab 8 Uhr schon wieder beim Kunden auf der Matte stehen muss. So wurde mein Frühstück leider zur Fata Morgana. Vielleicht wäre ja ein kleiner "Frühstarter-Korb" eine Idee? Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig – aber ein bisschen hellhörig. Der Nachbar hat seiner Frau oder Freundin am Telefon offenbar seine unsterbliche Liebe gestanden – ich hab jedenfalls jedes romantische Wort mitgehört. Auch nett, aber ich steh mehr auf Podcasts. 😉 Die Dusche: perfekt für Hobbits oder Kinder. Für Menschen über 1,90m (ich zähle mit 1,98m wohl dazu) wird’s sportlich – ich konnte im Stehen meine Brust duschen und für die Haare musste ich dann doch etwas in die Hocke. Fitness inklusive! Tipp fürs Hotel: Bitte Zahnbürsten und Zahnpasta in den Automaten im Eingangsbereich packen. Ich hatte meine vergessen – und weit und breit war kein Laden in Sicht. 😅 Fazit: Nettes Hotel mit Potential für kleine Extras, die den Unterschied machen würden. Würde wiederkommen – aber nächstes Mal mit Thermoskanne und Zahnbürste im Gepäck!

Tolles Haus mit Seele

Für meine späte Anreise war alles hervorragend organisiert. Der Kontakt mit dem Hotel im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht neu aber genau das macht den Charme des Hauses aus. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und das Haus hat eine Seele. Schön, dass es auch noch diese familiengeführten Häuser gibt. Es lohnt sich einen Blick aus die Urkunden an den Wänden zu werfen, da sieht man Hoteltradition seit Generationen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und hat absolut meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Es war für mich ein sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt.

User Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war eine Mischung aus positiven und negativen Eindrücken. Der Empfang war herzlich und freundlich, was uns einen angenehmen Start in unsere Reise ermöglichte. Zudem liegt das Hotel in einer wunderschönen Gegend, perfekt für Wanderungen und Erholung. Die Zimmer selbst waren in Ordnung, aber leider ließ die Sauberkeit der Badezimmer stark zu wünschen übrig. Das Badezimmer unseres ersten Zimmers war in einem katastrophalen Zustand – schwarzer Schimmel am (durchgehend tropfenden) Duschkopf, in den Duschfugen und an der Wand sowie Urinflecken auf der Toilette sorgten für einen äußerst unangenehmen Eindruck. Nach unserer Beschwerde erhielten wir schnell ein neues Zimmer, was grundsätzlich positiv war. Doch auch hier zeigte sich das gleiche Problem: Das Bad war ungepflegt, die Toilette dreckig und auch hier befanden sich Schimmelspuren in der Dusche. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, aber nichts Besonderes. Es bot eine grundlegende Auswahl, ohne große Highlights. Besonders schade ist, dass das Hotel eigentlich alles bietet, was ein gemütliches Wanderhotel ausmachen sollte – doch der schlechte Zustand der Badezimmer und die allgemeine Sauberkeit trüben das Erlebnis erheblich. Eine Renovierung der Zimmer ist dringend notwendig, damit Gäste sich rundum wohlfühlen können. Als Allergiker hatten wir hierbei erhebliche Schwierigkeiten, weshalb wir uns leider nicht richtig entspannen konnten. Fazit: Ein Hotel mit viel Potenzial, das jedoch dringend Verbesseru

Ruhig nah am Wanderweg

Rezeption freundlich und effizient. Leider sind die Angaben über das Hotel bei Hotel.com nicht aktuell oder widersprüchlich. Laut Hotel.com Check in ab 11h. Nach Buchung englische mail check in ab 12h. danach deutsche Nachricht Check in ab 13 h! Tatsächlich konnte ich um 1230h einchecken ,da Zimmer schon sauber war. Sauna ist nur im Winter in Betrieb,dass stand so auch nirgendwo.Da wir wert auf Sauna legen sind wir natpürlich nicht happy darüber. Frühstücksbuffet ist basic.Im Vergleich mit anderen Buffets bei Hotels. Lage ist schön im Grünen.Wifi Stabil.

Excellent repos et service très disponible.

Pour les amateurs de calme, de nature, de belles balades bien balisées, proche de centres culturellement très actifs, avec une gastronomie locale excellente, nous pouvons recommander cet hôtel; le personnel est très accueillant, fait le maximum pour satisfaire chacun, et nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Et la confiserie-pâtisserie locales sont à déguster...
