Halfway between Périgueux and Brive, near Hautefort, 10 minutes from the motorway exit, Lachaud is a charming hamlet of about ten houses, nestled under its castle of Redon.
The house, an old farmhouse, is set back at the exit of the hamlet, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
The house was completely renovated in 2021. You will have 4 beautiful attic bedrooms upstairs: two bedrooms with a double bed and two bedrooms with two single beds (capacity of 8 people). The fully equipped kitchen is open to a bright living room. You can enjoy a library, a TV/game room. The bathroom (with separate toilet) is equipped with a shower.
Outside, several spaces are provided: the car can be parked in the enclosed courtyard, a terrace sheltered by a pergola allows you to have meals outside. The swimming pool has been installed in an enclosed garden, between lawn and terraces.

Shops and amenities are accessible within a radius of 10km (15 minutes maximum by car).

There is no shortage of walks, starting from the house but also in the nearby surroundings, starting with the loop of Granges d'Ans, Nailhac but also that of Saint Mesmin.
The Dordogne has many tourist sites and points of attraction, more or less known (Brantome, Les Eyzies, Hautefort, Pompadour, Sarlat, etc.) many of which are located within a radius/an hour's drive around Lachaud.
