Nice, very clean appearing place to stay, with excellent breakfast and very pleasant staff. The only downside was the very musty smell in our room. It looked clean, but smelled as if the carpet had been wet for a long time.

My daughter goes to school at GVSU and I have stayed several times at Sleep Inn. Generally it’s in good conditions, but this particular time our sleep was interrupted several times during the night because the AC unit would make a loud noise when cycling on.

The price charged at hotel was different than what was shown on hotels.com Desk clerk asked if we would like to charge room with a different credit card than what was booked with, which we did, but a pending charge was listed on both credit cards and then ultimately charged to the incorrect card. Not the best but you get what you pay for

It was an okay stay for as cheap as it was, but there were a lot of things that weren't great. We got 2 rooms for a family trip. The Tv in the room didn't have any working channels and the phone didn't work either and i didn't feel like walking all the way downstairs to tell them so i just told the guy at the front desk when we checked out. He didn't seem to care. The handle in the toilet was upside down which made it a little tougher to flush. My inlaws had s room nexy to us and had to switch because the ac didn't work and the phone in theirs didn't either. We picked this one because of the rating on hotel.com which gave it a very good 8.4 score... more like 5 if you ask me. Would have been better to have paid a little more and went somewhere better.

Great hotel in the middle of no where!

Nice hotel with great breakfast, clean pool and friendly helpful attendents. The only con was how uncomfortable the beds were. They were hard for me. Did i sleep? Yes, but they were not soft like my back likes but i would come back again and again.

Place is pretty old, it even has that old smell when you walk in. No real lobby to chill in, just an old looking couch by the front desk. Breakfast was pretty gross honestly. I usually love biscuits and gravy but these were not good at all, waffles were the only okay thing. The pool area is a big no, dingy and unkept, same as the gym. The rooms also have the old AC units. That keep turning on every 5-10 minutes, and they’re pretty loud. Overall, i would not come here again.
