Great stay at the Residence Inn Grand Rapids Downtown! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, close to restaurants and entertainment. The rooms are spacious, clean, and having a kitchen was a big plus. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was very good. Parking is across the street and there’s a little downtown noise, but nothing major. Overall, a fantastic place to stay — I’d definitely come back!

We had a great three night stay. We enjoyed the views from the 7th floor, room was very clean, hotel itself was spacious and quiet (you do hear loud cars or motorcycles below), staff at the front friendly and helpful. Only mild annoyance is that one of the two elevators was down. Would happily stay again.

The only problem was the pool. It was freezing. Everyone wa a in it for 15 mina then they would leave. Even kids thought it was cold. This was the main reason we booked this hotel so we could swim inside. So we were disappointed

Room and facilities were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the listing on Expedia. At least two of this hotel's room types list two bedrooms and sleeps 6. These have ONE bedroom, not two. There are two beds in the bedroom and there is a sofa bed in the main room with the table and kitchen. Accessing the bathroom from the sofa bed requires going through the bedroom. I told the staff about this in check-in, and they indicated they would contact the manager to get it corrected, but as of today (over a week later) it is still not corrected. This may be more of an Expedia issue. Still 5 stars for this excellent hotel though!

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff.

We had issues with the WiFi. WiFi was weak with sporadic access when we were in the lobby of the hotel. Otherwise, this was a great downtown location and very walkable to many points of interest.
