I really was impressed with how quiet my room was even with people on both sides of me. I really liked being across from the lake too. The linens were clean and the room had what was promised. The price was right. Some of the things I wasn’t super excited about was the smell in my room. It smelled chemically and odd. The crack in the tiles and the rust on the heaters were from wear and tear. If those things were fixed, you could advertise the rooms as having a “vintage” feel since they haven’t been updated since the seventies. I appreciated that it is family owned and that my money didn’t go to a big chain. I also appreciated that it was close to a really nice grocery store and where I needed to be the next day. Overall it was a good experience, but the smell really was off putting. The best part was the air unit in the wall; it was new and didn’t have a mildew or smoky smell! That is worth the money right there!! Thank you for that!
