The property was in the process of being remodeled. Basement had 2 bedrooms and a rec room with cement floors. Utilities were in the open and covered in plaster board dust. A dehumidifier would help the musty smell. A bathroom needs to be put in the basement to avoid nighttime trips up the rather steep stairs. We had to buy ant abatement to get rid of the ants on the kitchen counters. Refrigerator had obvious stains on the door shelf which had to be cleaned. Mattress on the pull-out sofa in living room had a large stain on the back so we would not use it. Railings on the deck were loose. DON'T RENT A PROPERTY BEFORE REMODELING IS COMPLETE!
