One of the worst stays ever. No shampoo was available in the room or front desk; couldn't wash my hair. To make matters worse, there's no seat cover on the toilet to sit down after showering. Tv remote didn't work; had to turn on manually. Only 1 station available. Next to the airport with noise late night and early morning from the planes. Not sure what was going on in Grand Junction this weekend, and why other hotels were so high. First and last time I'll stay at any Motel 6.

This is just an overnight stay. I booked Motel 6 since it's the cheapest. The motel is near the airport; plane noise. The tv remote didn't work; they brought me another remote. TV still didn't come on; had to turn on the button underneath the tv. Also no shampoo in the bathroom; front desk brought some.

A place to hang my hat

Motel 6 is more cost effective in the area but as to be expected could use a little remodel. Located right off the highway and just next to the airport makes a great location.

The ratings on this motel were misleading. It's a 2 star motel at best. In the bathroom, there were holes in the wall under the sink, there was no A/C (they rolled in a separate unit to accommodate that), the one chair in the room was dirty, the floor was dirty tile (no carpet), the check-in guy was pleasant but unclear (for example, when I went to check in, he said "We have 1 room, with no A/C", and then just looked at me. My reservation was for 2 rooms, so I asked, "But our reservation is for 2 rooms", and the guy just still looked at us, until my friend said, "Do you mean that's the only room that cleaned and ready for check-in? So if we come back later, there'll be more?" The clerk said, "Yeah." It wouldn't have been such a disconcerting experience if I'd just known that I was going into a 2 star motel.

The lady at the front was rude. Then after we had already booked online they had us sign the we agree to stay without central air. Ok no worries there it was not hot. Where do I begin. The tiny shower had a horrible gross curtain that didn’t fit and was not clean at all!! The sink nozzle sprayed everywhere when I turned it on. The air conditioning unit in the ceiling looked like it was going to fall on the floor. Wall mounts were hanging out. Just bad.

It is just average to below average

Hotel is showing its age. Rooms are clean but old. Bottom floor only have portable air conditioners. On multiday stays there is no room cleaning service. Hotel can be loud at night.

Adequate for short stay

Entire property is dated. Counter guy was a little disheveled, wiping crumbs off his shirt when we arrived. I just chuckled. Bathroom sink spurted water in all directions. Knob on sink was straight out of 1990. Bed was a little springy, however I did sleep well. The room was very clean. For about a 9 hour stay. It was good and I would do it again.
