The reason we stayed in Williams is because we wanted to take the Grand Canyon Railway trip. A wildfire shut that down and we didn't need our 2nd night. I had to jump through hoops to get the 2nd night cancelled. The morning staff finally got that done for me.

Staff was awful. They Were loud. One was watching tv on their phone at the front desk while answering my question. Cleaning group was slamming doors in the morning while. We tried sleeping.

though we only stayed 1 night, we had absolutely not 1 issue. the staff was great, the breakfast was fresh and hot. our room was very clean. we will be strongly considering La Quinta for our future trips.

It’s a beautiful property and close enough to walk to the Main Street of Route 66 that has lots of shops and restaurants. There are some trains that run thru Williams several times a day and it’s loud enough to hear from this property, but Willams is small and I think you’d hear that train from anywhere in the city. I would highly recommend!
