The staff wasn’t very helpful - asked for the fire pit to be turned on and was told no. Asked the front desk if the fire pit could be turned on and they said I don’t know. It was 4pm and chilly, we had just gotten drinks at the bar and were sitting outside. The Nordic Sauna experience was pretty cool, we really enjoyed that. The rooms were average. Great location. Cute bar and sitting area. Overall the experience at the hotel was average - would not return.

This is such a cute place. The rooms are clean the beds are so comfortable. The water pressure is amazing after a long day hiking/sightseeing. Its very old but remodeled nicely. Would stay here again!!

Check in: Despite getting 2 confirmations from hotels.com on Tuesday, hotel could only see 2 cancellations (different reservation #s)? Front desk awesome and fixed it :) Cleanliness: Toilet was filled with leftover #2 (which we then flushed several times to clean out) so why the cleanliness score so low. Arrived in eve so haven’t seen or used the grounds, which looked great in photos. Room condition very average for the price ($234 all in on a Friday night). Very dated and stains on ceiling. First floor location very noisy until about 10 pm. Would not stay here again.

overall, for the money, I was a little bit disappointed. It's actually a super clean place, service is great but, the cost for what it is, is just too much. Especially the food, the coffee is in the morning,. I got a large bottle of water and it cost me 10 bucks, that's pretty common. Really ridiculous for the for what you're getting. again, very nice, comfortable, Services good but it sure puts a bad taste in your mouth when everything is at least double what it should cost.

Love this property. Very comfortable areas to sit, inside and outside (with gas fires), great bar and selection of drinks, food selection met our needs and the flatbread was excellent. All the staff was very pleasant and seemed happy to be working for HCML. Will stay again next time we are in the area. Great place!

Clean room - rooms are quaint and property is eclectic. King room is a bit small .Menu is simple , mostly salads , pizza and sandwiches which are very good . Breakfast is a bit too limited in options.
