The stay was one very relaxing evening. The only thing that could improve the night was a better mattress. They we a little on the lumpy side. The stag was especially friendly. We were leaving early in the morning to go to the Grand Canyon before heading south to Tucson, the staff made sure we had a few things to take with us for breakfast. They couldn’t have been nicer
And, we made it bright and early to the canyon.

WORST BED, WORST PILLOWS, WORST TOWLES

I did not have a good experience at this Marriott hotel. I travel a lot and have stayed in many places and this by far was the worst hotel I have stayed at. The reason I am rating this hotel as the worst was due to the beds, the pillows, and the towels were absolutely horrible. The towels will seriously rip your skin off they are sooo rough and they need to replace the towels! The pillows have absolutely zero cushion, and a napkin would’ve been better than what I was offered as what they would call a pillow. And last but certainly not least, the spring bed was so hard that I can’t even move my neck and back without extreme pain, and I think I 100% need to see a chiropractor. A rock or a wood board would’ve been more comfortable than the bed! Save yourself some back and neck pain, and save your money and book somewhere else!

Stayed two nights, but no beds were made or trash receptacles emptied the second day. By the morning of the third day one trash bin was crammed full. Also, there was some sort of caramel-like goo on the window sill and the a/c unit beneath there that was there from Tuesday when we arrived until Thursday when we left. We assumed the hotel would naturally clean up something like that, but is was not so. Last, the hotel, unfortunately, is located near a Purina dog food canning facility. At times the smell was pretty bad not only in the hotel, but throughout Flagstaff. The smell was like that of rotting meat. That is not the fault of the hotel, but rather a fact of life for those living in, or visiting, Flagstaff.

Very clean room & hotel. Room was quiet. Gym was small but adequate and provided all amenities...TVs, towels, water, ear buds & sanitizer. Pool was closed for maintenance. All staff encountered, from check in, breakfast hosts & housekeeping, were friendly & helpful. Location of hotel felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.
