We had a reservation for two nights on Valentines weekend. The refrigerator in the room was broken. We were unable to log in to WiFi and got the message that our information did not match any registered guest. My spouse checked at the front desk and was told it was broken. Night 2, Valentine’s Day, a near 10 pm, someone starts insistently swiping the key reader and jiggling the doorknob. Another couple was assigned to our room and he showed me the key envelope with our room number on it. We were supposed to be checked in until the next morning. A staff member came by and told me we weren’t registered to the room.she took our name and left. I was left wondering if we needed to pack up and leave but there was no follow up. If I hadn’t had the bar lock engaged, someone would have had access to our room, a risk in security and an opportunity for theft. Not acceptable.
