Plan ahead and bring your own food before your stay. The onsen area is quite small. No store at the surrounding. Taxi take a long time to gets there. Public bus only stop by once a hours and most likely will be fully occupied. Leave extra early if you have train or bus you need to catch.

I thought booked with breakfast but it wasn’t. We ordered at hotel which is too expensive as American breakfast. That’s is totally rip off. Sushi also terrible, they sushi without wasabi. Next time l will bring bento box.

The number one positive is the unparalleled views of Mt Fuji. We enjoyed the spacious room, and wish the weather had permitted use of the deck. Guest lounge area was very much appreciated, with free coffee. The onset was very nice, and enjoyed using it. The biggest con is that there is nothing near by. No shopping , food , services, or public transport that aren’t a $20 cab ride away. The hotel is in need of refurbishing. Years of use and weather have deteriorated the structure. If you have your own transportation, and are looking for a remote location, then it may suit your purposes

The property is quite isolated from the rest of gotemba. $20 taxi to Outlet Mall. $20 taxi to train station. If I were to do it again I would have chosen differently. Staff are pleasant and fluent in English.

The hotel is located on a mountain, with a magnificent view of Mount Fuji and Gotemba City. The hotel has a unique appearance. My favorite is the public onsen, which is very bright and overlooks Mount Fuji. However, the room decoration is relatively old and the cleanliness is acceptable. The front desk staff was very attentive and tried their best to help and answer our questions. Since it's about an 8-10 minute drive from the outlet, it's most suitable for traveling by your car instead of taking public transportation.
