The nearby sandy beach, the Schaabe—which stretches over 12 km—is one of the most popular and well-known swimming beaches on the island of Rügen. You can easily reach it on foot. From the Ostseesonne vacation home, a short walk through a pedestrian underpass and a narrow strip of forest takes you directly to the beach.
In Glowe, you’ll find a larger supermarket and various other shopping options where you can stock up on daily necessities. Numerous cafés and restaurants, as well as several food stands for a quick snack, are also available (approx. 500m to 1.5 km from the vacation home).
The Ostseesonne vacation home is situated on a spacious, well-maintained, and fully fenced garden lot, where a few trees provide shade. On the spacious sun terrace, you can relax wonderfully and use the barbecue fireplace for cozy evenings with friends.
