Set right in the centre of the City, a great place to stay. The floors are wonky, but then after 500 years that's to be expected and it has great character. Second time I've stayed there. It's so convenient and full of history. Love it.

Enjoyed my stay, I think I should have gone for a bigger room, my single room was devoid of character , no plug in the sink, shower control was not in good condition. The hotel itself is lovely, friendly staff and delicious meals, would definitely stay there again.

Cheap room so what do you expect. Get what you pay for. I booked midweek so meet up for a friend in Gloucester for a curry & a few drinks. Room adequate & fine for the price, but not somewhere to bring a partner!

Lovely room, gorgeous old building, staff very friendly and helpful. We loved the historical documents framed around the rooms and building! The outside stairs were a little treacherous as it was raining but there were handrails.
