The best place I've stayed in ages! Rooms are lovely and block so much noise. Beautifully furnished, I'll be coming back soon. The spa is great, well worth it, well set up.

The room was nice, had all the amenities including hairdryer, iron & plenty of hot drink options. The walls are very thin, I could hear whole conversations from the room next door. Bathroom was ok, the bath & shower curtain had various hairs around it. Breakfast options were good but they have some that are free (bacon sandwich/ two eggs with toast /others), but then they charge £3 for just avocado on a single piece of toast & £5 for the same but to add an egg or salmon, which doesn’t really make sense to me. The staff were all lovely & the spa is good, I recommended booking the classic spa day morning so you get to use the spa, have a massage etc & get lunch. The only negative for the spa is the cost of drinks, they’re changing £4.50-£6 for soft drinks. Very out of the way in the country so no shops near by, they have a restaurant on site for dinner and there a a couple places that deliver like pizza kebab etc. Overall it was ok, I wouldn’t stay again because of the thin walls & the breakfast.

The hotel contains a hotel, spa and function room/wedding facilities. It is located near enough to Cheltenham and Gloucester which makes it perfect to see everything the Cotswolds has to offer. The room we stayed in was comparable to a travel lodge room, the bedroom space was nice, however the bathroom seemed rather tired and not quite what you would expect from a 4 star hotel (peeling paint, cracked sealant, old bath with shower which was not the easiest to get in and out of). The spa was equipped with the facilities you would expect, however the staff did not explain the venue on our first visit and even forgot to give us towels. There was no attempt to offer the paid for services. The restaurant was a nice room and well equipped for breakfast and dinner. Again it was it hit and miss in terms of the guidance around breakfast and what was available. Breakfast included a good range of items with the option to upgrade to additional items for a small cost. The pancake upgrade with fruit consisted of a few blueberries which was a bit disappointing. In terms of dinner it was disappointing that one of the 2 vegetarian options was sold out when we went to dinner which left my wife with only one choice. Food was well presented and tasty. The bar was well stocked but appeared to operate on a more of a London level pricing structure. A good well located hotel, just needs some updating to the rooms and consistency in terms of the service.

Very nice spa. Lovely staff. The bathroom strongly smelled of bleach on arrival and the following day of damp. Food okay, perhaps trying too hard. Dog friendly only in that your dog can stay in your room- No bowl or bedding and not allowed into restaurant- so not truly dog friendly in my opinion.

Nice spa break

A great spa night away! The spa is really nice and well maintained, perfect for a little bit of relaxation. Room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable! Evening meal in the restaurant was also excellent and the staff were super friendly
