Pondshire Dome — Private Pond Retreat

Summary:

A private pond escape for two, with a king-bed dome, exclusive kitchen-cabin access, a dockside wood-fired hot tub and heated outdoor shower. Paddle the pond, fish with supplied poles and tackle, and relax beside the fire pit. Up to two dogs are welcome.



The Space:

YOUR DOME BY THE POND



Wake to water and woodland views from a king bed in your private geodesic dome. Enjoy a deck, pellet stove, lighting, fans, mini fridge, drinking-water cooler and Starlink Wi-Fi. Linens, towels and toiletries are supplied.



YOUR KITCHEN CABIN



Your dome booking includes exclusive kitchen-cabin access. Cook with a gas stove and oven, pots, pans, utensils, cups, wine glasses, coffee mugs and a stovetop espresso maker. A compact refrigerator and drinking-water cooler are supplied. There is no microwave or toaster.



Outside, use the wood-or-charcoal grill. Firewood is available; bring charcoal if you prefer it.



TIME ON THE POND



Enjoy two kayaks, two paddleboats and a rowboat. Paddles for the kayaks and rowboat, fishing poles and tackle are supplied. Six life jackets are available: one XL, one L and four universal around-neck jackets. Bring correctly sized children's life jackets if needed.



The wood-fired hot tub sits on the dock. Guests fill and heat it, so allow time for the water to warm. The heated outdoor shower overlooks the pond. Gather beside the fire pit or relax outdoors and watch for wildlife. Sightings vary.



BATHROOM FACILITIES



The dome has a convenience toilet for urination (#1) only. A separate outhouse is provided for bowel movements (#2). The shower is outdoors; there is no indoor full bathroom.



YOUR PRIVATE ESCAPE



One guest group has the pond retreat to itself. Solar power and Starlink Wi-Fi bring practical comfort to the woodland setting. Switch off lights, fans and other devices when you leave the dome or cabin.



Up to two dogs are welcome. Clean up after them in walkways and busy areas, and do not leave them alone inside the cabins.

Getting Around:

Pondshire is reached by maintained dirt roads. Ordinary passenger vehicles can normally reach the property during the operating season. Cellular service is little to none for most carriers, so save your confirmed arrival instructions before travelling. The exact address and final approach are shared privately after reservation.



Other Things to Note:

This dome listing accommodates up to two guests and includes kitchen-cabin access. The complete-retreat listing includes both companion cabins and accommodates up to six.



Pondshire is seasonal and closed from November 1 to April 1 each year. There is a two-night minimum.



Up to two dogs are welcome. The pet fee is $50 per pet per stay. Include your pets when booking.

Only registered guests are permitted; parties and unregistered visitors are not allowed. Smoking is outdoors only, including lawful adult cannabis use. No smoking inside any structure. Starlink Wi-Fi speed can vary; cellular service is limited.
