I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my recent stay. The room I was given was not what I had paid for and did not match what was advertised. Despite being a guest, I was unable to use the hotel parking as it was completely full. The rooftop bar was also fully booked, even though we were paying guests; in my experience, other hotels reserve space for overnight guests as standard. Additionally, the towels in the room were stained which I have photos of, which is unacceptable. I spent £200 on this stay, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. This is not the level of service I expect when paying this amount. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed promptly.

The pre-arrival email I sent a week beforehand was ignored, the welcome was frosty, my lunch was bad, slimy lettuce and a 45 minute wait, the room was fine, the sky bar staff were unhelpful and the departure was terrible, I nearly missed my train.

Hotel surrounded by building sites with dirty walkway to the hotel. Poor check in with long queue and one staff member, took 40 mins to get checked in. Hotel room not serviced. No fresh towels despite asking at reception. No food snacks available on arrival to the hotel with no nearby shops. Bathroom decor stark and unwelcoming. Poor gluten free offering at breakfast. Very poor hotel offering.

Very clean but think understaffed despite available staff working very hard. For some reason main bar was closed at night!! We wanted to sit and have a quiet drink and did not want to go to Sky bar. Breakfast poor. Insufficient choice and hot food was Luke warm or cold. We also had to set our own table I.e. cutlery napkins salt pepper etc. If going again to concert at Hydro , probably would not use this hotel again

Lovely restaurant! The red bar was amazing with gorgeous view and attentive staff that made a mean cocktail. Mairi on the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Would stay again!
