I was woken up by the sound of loud banging at 0800 on a Saturday morning; when I asked the front desk what the noise was, they told me renovations were taking place on the 2nd floor, and that they were taking place all day, everyday (including weekends). This information was not provided to us before, during, or after we checked in, and now the hotel is telling hotels.com that we did not speak to them about it (so they can avoid paying out any form of compensation). If I could leave them zero stars, I would.
