The surroundings of Gjern are characterised by clear lakes, rolling hills and wooded paths that invite you to go hiking and cycling. There is also an international 18-hole golf course and a 9-hole short course at Søhøjlandets Golfklub close to the holiday home. If you want to go on an excursion, Silkeborg is just a short drive away with its cosy cafés, individual shops and diverse cultural offerings.
