This little apartment is in an excellent location. It is truly unique—a cave apartment all of stone and with no windows. There is a well-equipped kitchenette. The bathroom has lots of shelves and places for your personal things.However it sometimes doesn’t have hot water! The bed is a fold-out couch that is against the wall. We are two older people with bad knees and it was difficult for us to get in and out of bed. It wasn’t possible to pull the unit away from the wall because you would still have to climb over the back of the couch. It was cold and damp, which might be welcome in the summer, but uncomfortable in April. There are space heaters in the room.

This was a cute little studio apartment nestled in the historical center of Giovinazzo. The walk to the apartment was super easy from the center square and was only a short walk from the train station. The main room was clean and had a dining area and a little kitchenette. Although we didn’t cook anything, it seemed set up perfectly to use. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. Since the apartment was so centrally located, it was easy to pop in and out throughout the day to rest, change, or whatever. Check in was super easy and the host (Marcello) was super communicative. He contacted us a couple days before we arrived and made sure we had directions to the place and met us there to check us in, show us around, and hand off the key. I can’t say enough good things about this apartment and would definitely stay there again if we return to Giovinazzo.
