I feel this place is unfairly given 2 stars it's not a luxurious hotel like you'd find in a big city it's a small quaint place in a small quaint town. We had a good stay.

It is an old motel, but it seemed clean. It could do with a makeover. If you aren't expecting the Hilton, you will be fine here for a night. The beds were comfy, the place was quiet and the restaurants are right around the corner and very good. It is a pleasant little town on our way to Devils Tower and beyond.

The hotel is in a good location if you are wanting to see this town. Also close to Devils Tower. The hotel itself is older and a little outdated, but it was perfectly fine for me. Bed was comfy too.

Throwback from the eighties. Needs a lot of TLC. You wonder how old the mattress and carpet are. They also make you pay 4% for a credit card. The breakfast is just ultra processed sugar. Not a lot of choices when seeing Devils Tower but avoid this one.

We liked the retro lodging. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Grab & go breakfast. Dinner in walking distance. Parking outside the room. Would have liked a firmer mattress. Limited electrical outlet. None by our bedside & had to unplug Microwave to use coffee maker.

First time staying in Sundance. Late night stay and early morning departure allowed for this luxury. Hotels.com showed the lowest reasonable cost, the end cost did not show the same. Bearing the cost, quality check in and laughter. Then after paying for pubbies, the bed sheets were filled with human hair. So we slept on top of the bedding, cold and got great rest. In a wild area, the parking was safe, yet not safe for trailers or rv's.
