The Jennie Wade Room at the Baladerry Inn

THE DESIGN

Jennie Wade (1843–1863) was a Gettysburg seamstress. She is remembered as the only known civilian killed directly in the Battle of Gettysburg, and her story is one of the battle's most moving reminders of its human cost.
