The room was clean but a little old and a couple spots creaked. Staff was friendly and helpful. The gym/pool was not free even though i had a suite and the buffet had a good variety but it was hell to walk around. The open air bath was really far away and was given 1 water bottle because i was solo? Again, on a suite? There may seem to be a lot of issues but it was still better than most 4 star hotels.

It would have been better if breakfast had been served as individual sets rather than a buffet. The buffet area felt quite overwhelming when everyone was trying to get their food, and some guests even cut the line. Enjoyable stay

There's staff to welcome and orientate us upon arrival. And since it's a large hotel with 3 buildings, the staff briefed us and walked us to the building where our room was. Nice breakfast and we have 3 onsens to choose from! It's also conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive to the main sights at Gero.
